Let's start with hello, my name is Alexia and I am a Derbyshire based, keen portrait photographer. I love capturing and documenting people and pets creating amazing moments which last forever.

Why did I choose portraiture? Well, to be honest I think portraiture chose me. I fell in love with the idea of being able to capture how somebody is feeling in an exact moment  and holding it forever. My camera gives me the opportunity to freeze these moments, and for them to be admired for many years to come by people who weren't even there to experience them.

Why pets too? Pets are just as an important part of the family as anyone. They bring warmth, happiness and completion to many of our hearts. Just like capturing photos of people, the photos which are taken of our closest friends show their happiness and spirit better than words can describe and the moments which we often overlook become some of our favourite memories in a frame. Being the one to document these memories and pass them to the people who they mean the most too is truly warming and magical.
